Skin & Steel Arizona
brings the best of two worlds together; tattoos and
motorcycles. They just seem to go together. The
admission is FREE and is a family event!
The concept began in New York over a decade ago hosted
by A.B.A.T.E. in Rochester, New York, Monroe County. The
event still continues today.
Arizona is a state full of tattoos and motorcycles, but
didn’t have anything like this event. It didn’t take
Eagle long to develop the idea for Arizona as she had
already worked and attended the Skin & Steel in New
York, is a lifetime member of A.B.A.T.E., an active
member of the American Legion Riders, Post 2 and was
already seeking such an event.
Skin & Steel Arizona boasts talented tattoo
artists, piercers, tattoo shops and all makes, years,
and models of motorcycles. Vendors of all kinds
participate in the annual events.
The Skin & Steel AZ is a 501c19 charity event
with all proceeds going to the many American Legion
Rider Programs in Tempe AZ. The American Legion Riders
are a powerful and productive program of The American
Legion. With chapters in all 50 states, the Legion
Riders contribute time and energy to support our troops
and their families and to promote the values of the Sons
of The American Legion, American Legion Auxiliary and
The American Legion. Watch the national
American Legion Riders video for a better
understanding of what we participate in - ceremonies;
parades; events; welcome home our troops; guard
servicemen at funeral services, at the request of their
family, from protesters; and many other honorable
activities. Everything we do is voluntary, with love and
American Legion Post 2 has over 15,000 square
feet of show space inside (4,000) and outside (12,000).
It also offers free ample on-site parking and has a full
bar, speaker system and band stage for your enjoyment.
We thank all of you for attending and supporting this
